The team at ClarityHR teamed up with Jobs for Ohio Graduates (JOG) at their Career Development Conference with over 300 JOG students from Ashland, Medina, Stark, Summit, and Trumbull Counties.
One of the most important things that you can do to keep great talent in the area is to support organizations like JOG and their programs. JOG is one of these organizations helping at risk youth find jobs in our community. Their career fair helps students understand the jobs available in the workforce and gives them an opportunity to ask industry experts about what they need to know on their path to graduation.
ClarityHR and AUI were proud to sponsor this year’s event, as well as exhibit at the Career Development Conference.
What is the Career Development Conference?
The Career Development Conference allows JOG students to compete using the work readiness skills required to obtain and keep a quality job, including financial literacy, communication skills, and more. While not competing, students will explore the Career and Community Expo, where they will meet employers in our community.

It is an opportunity for them to ask questions and gain insight into careers they may have not thought of for themselves.
Get Involved with Jobs for Ohio Graduates:
Jobs for Ohio Graduates is a non-profit in the tri-county community. The goal of the program is to help at risk youth to acquire the skills to get jobs that pay a livable wage in our communities. There are many ways to get involved with JOG including volunteering, sponsoring students, offering internships, hosting job shadowing events and more.
